Tiger Woods Bogey Hole Video

Published by admin on July 7, 2009 04:27 pm under Uncategorized

In this video I share with you a simple, yet powerful mental technique you can use to reprogram a bogey hole you have. What is a bogey hole?  It’s simply a particular golf hole that, no matter, what always seems to cause you problems. Even the great Tiger Woods is not immune from this as you’ll find out when you watch this video…

Very timely video Nick! I am having a hard time on the 7th hole at my local. Doesn’t seem to bother my playing partners but it kills me every time! I’m going to do the mental technique you described. Can only help! Thanks Nick.

Great mental tip, Nick. Re-programming is a common technique for NLP (neural linguistic programming) practitioners. And very effective. I’ve used a variation of this technique in the past and it has worked wonders for me. It can also be applied to other situations besides golf such as erasing fear of (insert your most common fears here). Again, great tip and keep on passing these tips to your readers.

Great tip !!. I´ve got my own bogey hole (2nd. in Rawamangun- Indonesia). I can seem to master it. It simply drives me crazy. Hope your advice serves me in the future.

Thanks Nick, I use NLP with my cadets on negative situations, the visulisation, fast forward and backward etc really does work. I have never tried the cartoon side and music before but can see the massive improvement by using it. can’t wait to see their faces, I know mine was full of smiles.

how very true and an excellent piece of advice. I can recall an Open Champion who used to play each hole in his mind on his flight before he reached the venue. with the result being he got in his head,”I hate that 6th hole, I always play it bad!” and guess what, yes, bad golf performance at this hole. At that level the difference between winning or losing an event. you can now find this video on http://www.golfblogger.co.uk under the following link:- Good Luck!

Thanks for the great mental tip. Love the silly cartoon animation to help relieve the stress associated with the hole… A faster technique that would also help is EFT or the emotional freedom technique… Lots of free info on the web about this. Cheers to more happy and successful rounds of golf!

Great presentation and visualization exercise. Thanks. I can totally relate, my hole is the 6th on my regular course. Number one index yes, but it has a huge fairway which I can simply never hit…. I simply have never been able to put a decent drive down there except once - never forget that one though! Every other drive is a duck pull or big slice out of bounds after getting to the 6th at even or a couple over often.

I’m gonna try this and see how it works. Thanks Nick.

Love it! Thank you very much. Anyone got Tiger’s email address?

I haven’t parred the 6th at my local course for over 10 rounds now - will be interested to see what happens with this technique.
I’d be interested to know how this refocuses your mind.

A new par 3 hole at my local club has been causing lots of problems. At first it was not difficult to par, but for the past two weeks I have not been able to play it right. I´m all excited to try this method.

    Yeah!
    It should work.
I did this to one hole where my normal drive of two hundred yards started going in to the water hazard just fifty yards from the tee and going upto 100 yards.
And vow I started hitting my booming drives all over again over the water.

    Hi guy,

Many thanks for showing me this great video. I’m having that same difficulty at the two local clubs on Curacao where I’m a regular player at a specific (long) hole with a hig placed tee box where I have to cross the ocean with a ball flight of at least 140 yards. At all the other holes normally not a problem for me at all to see the ball going straight as an arrow that short distance.
Looking forward receiving more great tips by your video’s.

Thanks for the mental tip, Nick. My bogey hole is a 172 yard par 3 at my club with a 40 yard water hazzard about 20 yards in front of the tee. For the life of me I cannot understand how I can put one OR TWO balls in the water what seems to be more than half the time I play the hole. You can count on me trying your method of reversing my play on this hole.

    Hi Nick
I have a problem with the 4TH hole at my club in Ireland,
It has trees on the left and right when you make your drive,.
Most Saturday mornings when we play competition I pull the shot into the trees on the left.
My playing partners have named the trees as Damien,s trees.
Recently I have started to use my rescue club instead of the driver, this has helped but sometimes I stiil pull that shot into the trees.
I am looking forward to trying your method

  23. Jerry on July 13th, 2009

I tried this. Then ran out to my local course. On my bogey hole just as I was about to tee off and bird ran in front of me going Beep Beep followed by a coyote. Then an anvil fell out of the sky and hit me on the head. When I woke up I had made par. Thanks for the advise.

  24. Ram on July 13th, 2009

Sounds like a great trip to take the demons out of your head! Will definitely ty this next time out! Thanks very much.

    Nick,
I have two par three’s on my course in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea which seems to give me such problems and even though at times I do get the ball on the green on tee off, I want to maintain consistency!

I will definitely try your method and look forward to positve results!

    Regards;

    John Cholai
